Ben Otey is a Special Operations Veteran, real estate investor, entrepreneur, and business strategist dedicated to creating opportunities that generate both financial returns and meaningful community impact.
His entrepreneurial journey began through a deeply personal experience. After watching his mother face significant health challenges, Ben became determined to build businesses and investment strategies that would provide the financial freedom and flexibility to support the people he cared about most. That experience sparked a passion for entrepreneurship, real estate investing, and helping others build resilient, purpose-driven businesses.
Drawing from his military background, studies in performance psychology, and consulting experience, Ben brings a disciplined, solutions-oriented approach to business growth, leadership, and strategic decision-making. At TKB Collective Strategies, he focuses on acquisitions, business development, strategic partnerships, and helping entrepreneurs and operators build organizations designed for long-term success.
Meet Tara Kay
Co-Founder · Leadership & Coaching
Tara Kay Otey is an ICF Certified Coach, entrepreneur, and leadership development professional with a unique background spanning the performing arts, government, and business.
As a professional vocalist and ballroom dancer, Tara Kay developed a deep appreciation for discipline, confidence, personal growth, and the mindset required to perform at a high level. She later brought those skills to Capitol Hill, where she served as a Congressional Scheduler, coordinating high-level meetings, managing complex logistics, and supporting leaders in fast-paced environments where communication and execution were critical.
Today, Tara Kay combines her experience in leadership, coaching, and human performance to help entrepreneurs, professionals, and organizations gain clarity, strengthen their leadership capabilities, and navigate growth with confidence. She is passionate about helping people align their goals, values, and actions to create meaningful and lasting success.
